# Complodex — Terms of Service & Sale

## Preamble

These Terms of Service and Terms of Sale govern your use of the **Complodex** mobile app and any subscription to paid offerings. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms in full.

## 1. Publisher identification

## 2. Service description

Complodex is a mobile app for collecting themed cards about conspiracy theories. Each card is marked **CONFIRMED** (theories historically documented by official sources) or **THEORY** (not verified). Users can vote **Plausible** or **Parano**, and collect cards across 4 rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic.

## 4. User account

- **Anonymous by default:** no email required to start
- **Conversion possible at any time:** by email (magic link)
- **Minimum age:** 13
- **One account per person** — creating multiple accounts to bypass Free limits is forbidden

## 5. User obligations

- No bots, scraping, or automated exploitation of the service
- No attempts to bypass Free-tier limits
- No reverse engineering of the app
- Respect the editorial disclaimer and the community (see §7)

## 6. Intellectual property

All content of the app (cards, illustrations, Complodex trademark, characters Nino / Milo / Max, design, code) is the exclusive property of Sébastien Soulier. Any reproduction, distribution, or adaptation is prohibited without written authorization.

## 7. Editorial disclaimer

> Complodex presents conspiracy theories, from the wildest to the most serious. Cards marked **CONFIRMED** are historically documented by official sources. Cards marked **THEORY** are **not verified** and do not engage the editorial responsibility of Les Petits Complotistes. The popular vote reflects the community's opinion, not a truth.

## 8. Limitation of liability

Unverified theories (**THEORY** cards) are presented for informational and playful purposes. The community vote reflects an opinion, not a scientific truth. The publisher cannot be held responsible for the use you make of this information.

## 9. Moderation (DSA-ready)

- "Report" button available on every card
- 3 distinct reports trigger an automatic review
- Appeal possible by emailing [contact@lespetitscomplotistes.com](mailto:contact@lespetitscomplotistes.com) if you consider a moderation decision unjustified

## 10. Sales terms — subscriptions and purchases

### 10.1 Payment

All payments are handled by **Apple App Store** or **Google Play Store** depending on your platform. The publisher does not collect or store any payment data.

### 10.2 Pricing and VAT

Prices are **tax inclusive**. **VAT not applicable — French micro-business VAT exemption (art. 293 B French Tax Code)**. Prices may vary by local currency and the taxes applied by your store.

### 10.3 Right of withdrawal (EU)

Pursuant to article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a **14-day** period from subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal.

### 10.4 Digital services exception

**For Premium activated immediately:** by validating the purchase, you explicitly accept immediate execution of the service and **waive your 14-day right of withdrawal**, in accordance with article L.221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code. This waiver is confirmed on the checkout screen prior to final validation.

### 10.5 Refunds

All refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. The publisher does not intervene directly in refund handling.

### 10.6 Subscription cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via **Settings > Premium > Manage subscription** in the app, which opens the Apple or Google subscription management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

## 11. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time via **Settings > GDPR > Delete my account**. A 30-day grace workflow allows you to reverse the decision. After this period, data is erased (except for the anonymized `consent_log` kept for 5 years).

## 12. Changes to these terms

Any material change to these terms is notified inside the app and triggers a mandatory **re-consent flow**. You may always refuse and terminate your account at no cost.

## 13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by **French law**. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the **Paris Judicial Court (Tribunal Judiciaire de Paris)**.
