# LPC Studio — publishing tool privacy policy

**LPC Studio** is the internal tool the publisher of this website uses to schedule and publish the videos of the series “Les Petits Complotistes” on its own accounts (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X). It is neither distributed nor sold and has no public interface: it only runs on the publisher's own computers. This page describes the data it processes, in particular through the YouTube API Services.

## 2. YouTube API Services

LPC Studio uses the **YouTube API Services**. By using LPC Studio, you agree to be bound by the [YouTube Terms of Service](https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's processing of data is governed by the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

## 3. Data accessed and how it is used

LPC Studio only accesses one account: the Les Petits Complotistes YouTube channel, authorized by the publisher through Google sign-in (OAuth 2.0). The tool:

- checks the identity of the connected channel (ID and name);
- uploads our videos and reads or updates their details: title, description, category, publication date, privacy status;
- uploads and updates the captions of our videos;
- reads, creates and fills our playlists;
- posts a comment on our own videos and reads it back to check it is live. Public comments by other people may appear in that read-back: they are not stored, analyzed or shared.

The tool does not access any other channel or any viewer data (no audience analytics, no personal data).

## 4. Storage and retention

- The OAuth access token is stored only on the publisher's computers, in a file readable by the publisher alone. It is never sent to any third party.
- The tool keeps the ID and address of our own published videos and comments, so that the same content is never published twice.
- Any other data obtained through the YouTube API Services is only used for the duration of an operation and is not stored.

## 5. Sharing

No data is sold, rented, shared or transferred to third parties. LPC Studio shows no ads, sets no cookies and does no tracking.

## 6. Revoking access and deletion

LPC Studio's access to the YouTube account can be revoked at any time from the [Google security settings permissions page](https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). The token then stops working, and the publisher deletes the corresponding local file.
