This page explains how to delete your ComploDex account and all associated data, directly from the app or by email.
1. Delete your account from the app
Open ComploDex, then go to Settings > GDPR > Delete my account. Confirm the request: the deletion process starts immediately.
2. 30-day grace period
Deletion is not instant. For 30 days, your account is disabled but recoverable: simply sign back in with your email to cancel the deletion and recover all of your data.
After this 30-day period, the deletion becomes permanent and irreversible.
3. Data that is deleted
At the end of the grace period, your account and all associated data are erased:
- Account and identifiers (email, authentication UUID)
- Profile: username, persona, avatar, language, settings
- Cards collected, Plausible/Parano votes, investigation walls, streak
- Subscription status and in-app purchase history
One exception: the consent history (consent_log) is kept in anonymized form for 5 years, in accordance with the GDPR legal obligation (art. 7). It no longer contains any data that could identify you.
In-app subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google: deleting your ComploDex account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, which is cancelled from your Apple or Google account settings.
4. Can't access the app anymore?
If you cannot open ComploDex (lost device, app uninstalled, etc.), email contact@lespetitscomplotistes.com from the email address linked to your account. We will process your deletion request within one month maximum (GDPR art. 12.3).
